GETTING THERE

Ambalama is located 7 km south west of historic Galle on the ocean road to Matara on the pristine Dahawella beach, home to the distinctive Sri Lankan phenomenon of stilt fishermen. Colombo is 125 kms away . The journey from Colombo airport currently takes 2 ¾ to 3 ½ hours but the new highway is about to open and this will reduce journey time by approx 1 hour. We can arrange airport transfers.
