Villa Availability
Ambalama is available for booking on a full villa basis or by individual suites in the off peak seasons (subject to villa management agreement). During the Peak season, we have a minimum 7 nights stay policy and a minimum 3 night stay requirement during the High Season. Check out/in times are noon/1400 hours but we try to be flexible since many of you arrive after a long journey.

Ambalama is a piece of heaven. The house, the insane view, the pool, the beach. Never known anything like it. And the staff are amazing. And Roshan the chef produces the most incredible food. Finally - the owner Chris is a joy to deal with. Massively recommended!
We arrived frazzled and exhausted from the stresses of life and left relaxed, rejuvenated and happy. Ambalama has a special chi to restore the soul. The staff are charming and helpful, the food delicious and the massage under the frangipani tree listening to the pounding waves was to die for. We'll be back.
We stayed at Ambalama villa for one week in March. We travelled with our two small children (aged 2 and 3). We had an amazing holiday. The Villa, garden and pool are all absolutely fantastic... The staff were all lovely and always happy to help and suggest/make arrangements to visit local attractions... Lastly, the food at the villa was nothing short of spectacular. We have stayed in several villas with chefs and this was without a doubt the best yet.
The villa itself was absolutely stunning. Adorned with antiques and beautiful doors that we wanted to take off the hinges and run away with. The pool was gorgeous. Perfect for spending the entire day away, basking in the sun and watching the waves roll in, in the midst of good company and sunset cocktails, you just can get any better than this.
Just got back from Sri Lanka, and had an unforgettable stay at Ambalama Villa! The food cooked by Roshan was incredible, and the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive, and friendly. The setting of the villa is beautiful, truly even better than the pictures! I would also strongly recommend treating yourself to a massage. My 30 minute massage was just what I needed to end my holiday the perfect way. Big thank you to everyone for making our stay so relaxing.
